Since starting in recruitment in 2013, he has built a strong track record across the built environment, with a specialist focus on architecture and design.Coming from an award-winning recruitment background, James brings a commercial, no-nonsense approach to hiring. He works closely with clients and candidates on critical roles where getting it right matters - focused on solving problems rather than simply filling roles.Outside of work, you’ll find him golfing, fishing, or spending time with his kids.
Peter is a Director at Onyx Recruitment, responsible for driving strategy, growth, and overall business performance. Since entering recruitment in 2013, he has built a strong track record across the built environment, with a specialist focus on energy and renewables.As the founder of multiple recruitment businesses, Peter has built and scaled high-performing teams and established a strong market presence through consistent delivery. He takes a practical, outcome-driven approach, focused on building teams that deliver and stand the test of time.Outside of work, Peter is focused on building businesses and backing people - both within the team and across the wider network
Ben has been recruiting across the built environment since 2008, giving him a strong understanding of the people, projects and businesses that shape the industry. His core focus is across design and delivery, working on architecture, interiors and construction roles where project knowledge, commercial awareness and the right people make a real difference. Ben brings an experienced, straight-talking approach to recruitment. He knows the market, understands the pressure points, and is trusted by clients and candidates for clear advice, honest communication and recruitment grounded in real industry knowledge.
Greg is an experienced recruitment specialist with a strong focus on engineering and fire protection. He has built long-standing relationships across the sector, working with engineers, consultants and specialist contractors on roles where technical understanding and delivery experience are important. Greg works across civil, structural, building services and fire protection roles, supporting clients on projects where capability, reliability and fit matter. He has a calm, straight-talking approach and takes the time to understand the brief properly, so he can match clients with people who can do the role and deliver in the environment.
